This looks like a grade school activity.

Why are they called "Perler beads"? 'Perler' is in fact the Danish (plural) word for beads or more accurate; pearls. Is it because it is a brand name? We, in Denmark, use these quite a lot (especially kids) in various arts and crafts projects, so maybe they originate from here? Anyway, I'm just curious - me being Danish myself. Maybe you know, Neecey? Great post, btw. - Christina, Denmark. 😊
