Try to make your living space as open and airy as possible, because the more confined it feels, the more confined your mind will feel too. Keep windows open as much as possible, don’t leave laundry to lie out and build into a mountain, have nice bright lights to illuminate every corner of the room. Make sure that your furniture is arranged in such a way that the natural flow of your room provides a pleasing circulation. You shouldn’t have to stop and start and move around to be able to navigate your rooms; there must be a logical arrangement of furniture that allows you to move effortlessly.
Be more thoughtful about the noise levels in certain areas of your home. For example, if you have a number of rooms to choose from, always try to have your bedroom the furthest away from your living room, because when you want to sleep at night, you will be furthest away from any noise pollution that could be coming from other people who are still up.
