By Leiann

Now I feel really stupid. Find out why in this video...

After making gift baskets for a quite a while, I was either at the feet of Dollar Tree or Oriental Trading for cellophane bags, having no alternative.

Well, after watching the above video, I learned how to wrap a gift basket using Saran-Wrap, and of course, Saran-Wrap is found in just about every kitchen in the universe!

Why have I never thought of this tip? Have you?

So, now I may make quite a few baskets for a buck using Saran-Wrap (aka: kitchen plastic wrap) instead of the dollar store 2 cellophane bags for a $1.00.

This is what is so nice about YouTube, we learn.

Happy basket wrapping!

Oh, there are so many fun options! You can use fabric, burlap, clear gift bags, or even tissue paper. These alternatives can give your basket a unique and personalized touch.
How do I wrap a gift basket to make it look professional?
I like to start by arranging the items neatly, then use a sturdy base. After that, wrap the basket in your material of choice, and finish it off with some pretty ribbons or bows. It’s all about the details!
Can you give me some ideas for a DIY fruit gift basket?
Absolutely! You can include a mix of fruits, a small bottle of sparkling water, some nuts, and perhaps a jar of honey. Adding a handwritten note or a small bunch of fresh flowers can add that extra special touch.
