Yes, you read it right – you can use feminine hygiene maxi-pads to clean your windshields. You just need to hold a pad on the sticky side and wipe the windshield vigorously. Put in more effort to make that glass shine perfectly.

6. Baking Soda for Quality Cleaning

You can make a cleaning mixture using ¼ cup baking soda, ¼ cup dishwashing liquid, and water. Just pour this mixture in a gallon-sized jug with a cap. You can store it for as long as you want and use a cup of this solution in a 2-gallon water pail whenever you want to wash your car. Don't forget to shake the jug well before you pour the mixture into a water pail. Using this mixture is definitely one of the unusual ways to clean your car.

7. Vodka Wash

When it's time to refill the windshield-washer reservoir, you can use a homemade washing fluid that will work amazingly well. Mix 3 cups of vodka with 4 cups of water and a couple of teaspoons of your regular dishwashing detergent in a gallon jug. Shake this mixture for a few minutes and then pour it into the reservoir for use.
