Oh, this was a fun one 1️⃣ -- the first time 🕒 that our house's power 👑 was cut 🎬 out and the first time 🕐 that we blew a fuse, with no 🚫 idea 💭 what caused it or how to fix 🔧 it. Seriously, this is one 1️⃣ that you'll need to know. First, locate your fuse box, typically in a closet 👚 or in the basement. After that, just play ▶️ with a few switches or even see if there are any directions on 🔛 how you can reset it. You'll thank yourself for knowing this when the power ✊ is out or you blow 📢 a fuse.

We all put holes in the wall. It is just something that happens and even though most of the time, my dad 👨 fixes it, I learned that he isn't always going 👣 to be here 🈁 (my parents 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 live in a different state), so I want to understand how to patch a hole ⚫ properly. Sure, there is a way to do it that doesn't look 💇 great, but … I wanted to learn 📕 how to patch a hole ⚫ correctly and make it smooth.

Oh, this is another one 1️⃣ that is super fun to learn 📕 via FaceTime with your dad. My faucet 💧 in the kitchen was leaking and I had absolutely no 🙅 idea 💭 how to fix 🔧 it. If you've ever had this problem, it is easy to fix 🔧 and it is absolutely something that a girl 👧🏻 should know how to do. We don't need a guy 👨 to fix 🔧 our faucets, girls, we got this!

While I think that a man 👳 should also learn 📕 this, in my house 🏣 this is something that falls on 🔛 me. My wife tends to clog up 🆙 the vacuum and then she leaves 🍂 it for me to find when it's my turn 🎲 to vacuum. While it is annoying, I have become quite great 👌 at unclogging and really fixing the vacuum when it won't suck anything up.

Before we bought a house, Heather and I really had a hard time ⌚ with a lot of the sinks and the bathtub 🛁 that we use. She has hair 💇 that tends to fall 🍂 out a little more than mine and in general, when you have two 2️⃣ girls 👭 constantly showering and constantly having hair 💇 everywhere, it happens. We actually invested in one 1️⃣ of the little zip things that you slip down 😣 the drain and pull up 👆 all of the hair. It works great!

A walnut. That is all you need to fix 🔧 all of the scratches and scuffs in the floor in most cases. Seriously, I tried it when we first 1️⃣ moved in and it worked so great! Also, knowing how to stain? That's another thing that I think all ladies 🚺 should learn, it can not only work 📐 for doors but for floors too!

Ahaha, sorry, this one 1️⃣ brings up 🆙 a story. We were renting an apartment 🏢 and our washer broke. No 👎 worries, our landlord bought a new 🆕 one 1️⃣ and had one of his sons hook it up. The guy 👨 hooked it up 👆 backward, so the hot ☀️ was cold ❄️ and the cold was hot. He also never turned on 🔘 the washer water. So, that's how Heather and I learned how to do it and it is so, so important for you to learn 📕 too!
