1. Repel Spiders and Rodents
If you want to keep spiders and rodents away from your house then just spray some peppermint oil mixed with water around doors and windows. You can also douse some cotton balls with peppermint oil and stuff them into the corners of your windows where spiders may be able to enter or in other places where you think rodents may be able to enter your house.
2. All-Purpose Spray
If you want to keep bacteria at bay on all your hard surfaces then just make an efficient all-purpose spray by using some essential oils. Just fill a bottle with distilled water, add a bit of vinegar and put in 20 drops of essential oils. You can add anything from lemon oil, tea tree oil or cinnamon oil to eucalyptus oil.

If you want to freshen up your carpets then just make some carpet freshener using your favourite essential oils. You can get your wood floors shining like new with the help of some homemade floor cleaner.
