Wondering how to make a broquet for Valentine's Day? This DIY gift is so thoughtful, unique and personal. You know him best. The little things. Special yet not too mushy. You know, he IS a guy.
The following YouTube video, by Courtney Alcocer, published on February 5, 2016, will show you step-by-step on how to make a broquet for Valentine's Day.
As a review... Make sure you are prepared with the following:
- Floral foam or styrofoam
- Glue gun (Courtney uses a low-temperature one.)
- Glue sticks for glue gun
- BBQ skewers
- Scissors
- Tape
- Paper shreds
- Valentine's theme gift paper (red, white with hearts or cupid, etc.)
- Containers (Courtney used a beer mug and a small gift box.)
- Snacks, candy, travel-sized toiletries, scratch-off lottery tickets, small gifts, etc.
Pay close attention to how she attaches everything to the skewers, not melting the chocolate with the glue gun. A little iffy? Use tape.
The fun part is placing it together once attached to the skewers. Arrange however your little heart desires. There is no perfect way!
He will think that it is the most original gift he was ever given. Romantic and from his gal. A win-win situation.
