To make this beautiful necklace, you will need photos of the phases of the moon. Print them onto the shrinky dink plastic sheet, cut the circles, and then punch holes on two sides of each moon. Bake by following the sheet instructions and then assemble using jump rings and a chain. This lunar backdrop was made for a wedding but I think it can be an all-year fixture for any backyard. This gorgeous DIY project involves a giant plywood circle. A quarter of an inch thick type should work. For the paint, a combination of blues and grays should do beautifully.
