Looking at home decor magazines, Pinterest, DIY shows, furniture stores and websites can give you decorating ideas.2

You can also look for decorating ideas while you shop.

Items that you may want to pick are:

Vases, baskets, silk flowers, accent rugs, curtains, throw pillows, blankets, wall art, clocks, accent tables, shelves, candles, lamps, mirrors, metal art, potted plants, pottery etc.…

The goal is to choose items from your accent and base color palettes.

If you're on a tight budget, you can shop at Walmart, Target, The Dollar Tree, thrift shops and garage sales to find inexpensive items that will look great and save you money.2

If you want to paint any pieces of furniture or decor, pick up some paint while you shop.
