I love AWS but this article is complete nonsense. Pretty as some of these ideas may be, it is cruel to keep a fish in most of them. Jars, bottles, old xbox's, TV's... They are way too small to keep a healthy thriving fish. Most of these fish are betta fish, commonly known as siamese fighter fish. They need at least a 40 litre tank, heated with a good filter. Anything smaller would not do. Betta fish are extremely intelligent and respond very well to human interaction, and keeping them in small containers is animal abuse. I have a betta in a huge tank and he been living there happily for years. Coffee tables and that kitchen idea seems alright, as long as the water can be easily changed. I strongly suggest you do a but more reading before you start going around suggesting readers to keep fish in a bottle. Unless you are thinking of keeping some dead fish, then these ideas would be great for that!

@Olivia a fighter fish may survive in these conditions, but they may not thrive and live as happily as they could have. Would you keep a fish in a jar just to have it be barely alive? Also, in the wild, their genes are slightly different to those we keep as pets, making them better adapted to those conditions
