Lemon Coconut Shampoo

Lemon Coconut Shampoo This DIY shampoo recipe is a little bit similar to the previous coconut milk mixture we've featured here. This particular beauty product, though, has a zesty appeal because of the added lemon. This recipe's ingredients are the organic shampoo base, organic coconut oil, and lemon essential oil. Take note, this recipe uses coconut oil and not coconut milk.

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

Any other ideas that don't have coconut? Sadly I'm allergic to it :(

Can't wait to try one!!

I would be worried that the ones that require any oils would leave my hair feeling greasy not clean. Anyone try any of these recipes?

I wouldn’t recommend cocoa powder, tho. It makes your hair little bit sticky and yeah... it just doesn’t work(well for me at least). But I use flour and it works so well. ( i have really dark hair, but when you „blend“ it in well your hair won‘t look grey)

This is such a cute article! Never thought of making my own shampoo. Thanks for the recipes!

I'm a do-it-yourself gal! This is great! :-)
